Description:

One of the greatest living Czech guitar players Roman Pokorny, who regularly collaborates with foreign musicians, invited this year the outstanding Canadian pianist David Restivo. A chamber duo album called Favorite Colours was recorded at Sono studio. The godfather of the album is NajPonk.

David Restivo has recorded and performed with top world musicians, including Dave Holland, Jon Hendricks, Kenny Wheeler, John Abercrombie, Jerry Bergonzi, Mel Tormé, John Parelli, the Woody Herman Orchestra, Pat LaBarber, Carla Bley, Steve Swallow, George Garzone, Howard Johnson, Christine Jensen, Kevin Mahogany, Randy Bachman (BTO / Guess Who), David Clayton Thomas, Molly Johnson, Rob McConnell and the Boss Brass and many others.
